Short Sequences for Young Dogs - no weaves Work backsides – This class will focus on backside wraps, backside slices and threadle wraps. Come learn the beginning steps or proof what you have. Work your Weaves - Working your weaves and distances! Come out to work 12 poles with channels Join us to learn how to train and handle the international-style skills you will see on ISC/UKI/International standard courses! We will look at layering and distance skills, backsides, threadles, independent skills, and so much more! Dogs must be able to run sequences with all obstacles. Mastering the current trending challenges on AKC masters level courses. Dogs must be able to run sequences with all obstacles. How to incorporate distance & layering handling into your course management strategy. Learn how to use distance to your advantage.Teaching stronger independence as well as where to use it and layers will be covered.This seminar is appropriate for all dogs novice level and up! Join us to learn how to train and handle the international-style skills you will see on ISC/UKI/International jumpers courses! We will look at layering and distance skills, backsides, threadles, independent skills, and so much more! Dogs must be able to run sequences with jumps, tunnels & weave obstacles. Build confidence and independence while learning to trust your dog's ability to work ahead. This seminar focuses on developing commitment to obstacles, sending to lines, and moving confidently down the course while you get into position for what's next. You'll learn how to cue earlier, improve timing, and create smoother, faster runs with less micromanagement. Give your young agility dog the best possible start! This seminar focuses on building clear communication, confidence, and teamwork while introducing essential handling skills in a thoughtful, age-appropriate way. Learn how to develop commitment, forward focus, and understanding of your cues without sacrificing your dog's enthusiasm or confidence. This handling session will use jump/tunnel sequences to help you learn how to execute brilliant blind crosses! We will look at mechanics, connection, timing, placement… and when a front cross or rear cross might be better! Dogs must be over a year old and able to sequence 6-8 obstacles. The challenges will be adjusted to fit the needs of each dog and handler. Teach your youngster a variety of fun and useful handling games! The session will focus on important foundations, using flatwork games plus wings/jump bumps and tunnels (no actual jumping). Intro to fitness – Come learn some skills to help work out your dog and even come up with a warmup routine for trials! Level up your Snooker - come learn how to play for UKI and CPE or come learn to upgrade your understanding of the game! Short Courses for Young dogs - No weaves needed Intro to Weaves - Starting weaves? or need some help fixing! Come play with channels and 2 by 2's. Handling with jumps and tunnels in short sequences with attention to the details of consistent and clear handling. This seminar is appropriate for any handler wishing to better communicate with their dog, regardless of age. Teams must be at least 8 months and have an understanding of jumps and tunnels.
This seminar is for those that wish to challenge themselves and their team with international style handling. Teams should be familiar with backsides, threads, and other international style challenges. You do not have to be competing internationally or even have the desire to do so in order to learn to communicate with your dogs on these courses, they are for every team. Balance your training to strengthen your dog's understanding of your handling and improve your technique execution in short sequences that show your dog how small differences can make a big impact. Appropriate for dogs sequencing at least 8-10 obstacles and have an understanding of jumps and tunnels. (jumps do not need to be full height). Dogs should be a minimum of 12 months, but appropriate for dogs of any age. This half day seminar will help you work on perfecting the 3 Cs of agility and help you keep the connection with your teammate- the most important skill in agility! Any level team welcome, focus will be on the CCCs using varying sequences.
This seminar will help you unlock the ability to run a fast dog, even if you are not a fast handler, or get that Velcro dog off your side! Any level team is welcome; focus will be on distance handling in mostly master's level sequences.
